Grants

The HBP Surgery Week 2024 Organizing Committee will offer grants to presenting authors coming from overseas and domestically. Grants will be given to presenters whose abstracts have been submitted with registration payment made in full.

Eligibility

* Please read the following instructions carefully to receive the grant.

  • 1. presenting authors of ACCEPTED Abstracts
    (Acceptance Notification: February 7 (Wed), by e-mail)
  • 2. presenting authors who have completed submission of the ‘Grant Application Form’
    (Deadline for application submission: January 23 (Tue))
  • 3. presenting authors must participate in the congress IN-PERSON with registration payment made in full.
    (Deadline for presenter registration: February 26 (Mon))

Notices

  • For any duplicate presentations, we will only pay one time in accordance with our policy.
  • If you reside in Korea, the same rules apply as for Korean participants. Please read the Domestic rules.
  • The travel grant will ONLY be given to the presenter specified on the abstract and can only be paid ON-SITE. (No remittance)
  • Candidates have to submit a valid form of ID, such as a passport or driver license and airplane ticket receipts.

안내사항

  • 대회 종료 후 영수 증빙을 통한 실비 지원
  • 3월 초에 전임의 예정이실 경우, 3월 초 학회 정회원/평생회원 가입 후 신청 기한 내 신청을 부탁 드립니다.
  • 영수 증빙 세부 기준
    • (1) 본인 카드로 결제한 내역만 지원 가능 (연구비/법인/타인 카드로 결제 시 지원 불가)
    • (2) 숙박/교통은 예약자에 본인 이름이 명시되어야만 지원 가능
    • (3) 식대 영수증 분실시 카드내역서로는 지원 불가
    • (4) 택시비의 경우 출도착지 명시하여 제출 필요. 콜택시/카카오 택시 이용으로 원본 영수증 미 수령시 카드내역서+어플 캡쳐본으로 탑승 위치 확인 가능해야 증빙 가능

ex) 부산역 → 서울역 / 서울역 → 경주역

증빙 서류 영수증+보딩 패스(항공) or 승차권(KTX/SRT/버스)
식대 지원 지역 개최되는 도시 내 일반 식당 및 카페, 편의점(음식에 한함)
지원 금액 1식 기준 최대 5만원까지 가능
지원 일자 대회 전날 저녁, 대회 기간 아침/점심/저녁, 대회 다음날 아침
*숙박비에 조식이 포함될 경우 아침 식대 제외됨
*학회 프로그램에서 점심 제공 시 점심 식대 제외됨

For overseas foreigners residing in Korea (Application Deadline: March 17 (Sun))

  • Grants: Residing in metropolitan area 250,000 won / Other regions 400,000 won
  • You must submit your receipts to the secretariat within 10 days after the congress. (All receipts should include prices and dates.)
  • The travel grant will ONLY be given to the presenter specified on the abstract and can only be paid ON-SITE. (No remittance)
  • Only receipts for congress registration, accommodation, transport fee and food cost will be accepted.
