Welcome to HBP Surgery Week 2026

      Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great honor and privilege to welcome you to HBP Surgery Week 2026 & the 64th Annual Congress of the Korean Association of HBP Surgery, to be held from March 26 (Thu) to March 28 (Sat), 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Incheon, Korea.

Since its launch in 2017, HBP Surgery Week has established itself as a premier international platform for academic exchange, surgical innovation, and global collaboration. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our members and the trust of colleagues worldwide. We extend our deepest appreciation to all who have contributed to this remarkable journey.

This year’s congress will introduce a new structure: two days of scientific sessions (March 26–27) focusing on the latest advances, evidence-based practices, and future directions of HBP surgery, followed by a Hands-on Surgical Skills Workshop (March 28) that will provide participants with practical training and opportunities to refine essential surgical techniques. By combining knowledge-sharing with hands-on experience, we aim to strengthen both academic excellence and clinical competence.

In today’s rapidly changing medical environment, our responsibility as HBP specialists is greater than ever. Through this congress, we hope to address challenges, embrace innovation such as AI-assisted healthcare and robotic surgery, and foster a culture of communication and trust among members and colleagues. Incheon, a vibrant and globally connected city, offers the perfect backdrop for these meaningful discussions and collaborations.

We warmly invite you to join us for HBP Surgery Week 2026. Together, let us share ideas, build networks, and shape the future of HBP surgery. We look forward to welcoming you in Incheon for an inspiring and memorable gathering.

      Sincerely,

      • Sung Su Yun
        President of the
